Superintendent - Fabrication & Machine shop

Responsibilities

Manage and effective utilization of manpower as per the priority of task list. Allocation of workshop resources and skilled manpower optimally to achieve results in the given time frame.

Capturing internal cost and comparing time to time with external service provider.

Ensure the effectiveness of shop floor equipment (Welding equipment, Lathe, Shipping machine, etc.).

Ensure critical instruments are calibrated as per OEM recommendations.

To identifying areas where the workshop can contribute to Indigenization of spares and equipment's.

Organize and manage to complete One Time Capex within time and as per budget, and Budget preparation.

Develop Second line with all required trainings, Coaching and mentoring for safety aspects.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical (Essential) or B Tech (Desirable).

10-15 years experience in fabrication workshop.
