Job Title : Material Manager – Construction Industry

Position Overview
The Store Manager will be responsible for managing and controlling the receipt, and verification of all construction materials, tools, and equipment at the project site. This role ensures optimal inventory levels, and proper documentation to support smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Material Receipt & Inspection
- Receive incoming materials and verify against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, and Invoices.
- Conduct quality and quantity checks with photographs of each material received.
- Ensure timely documentation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) in the Application or manual registers.
- Maintain accurate stock records (material in / out) and ensure timely stock reconciliation.
2. Material Issue & Return
Track material usage and returns from site for reusable items.Ensure tools and equipment inventory after use.4. Documentation & Reporting
Provide complete stock receipt report after verification with GRN and photographs. Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.Coordinate with procurement for material reordering based on stock levels.6. Coordination
Liaise with procurement, project, and accounts teams for smooth material management.Qualifications & Experience
Education : Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Management, or related field.Experience : Minimum 5–8 years of store management experience in the construction industry.Preferred : Knowledge of any ERP Application and MS Excel.Education
