Role description :

We are currently seeking a proficient urban / transport planner / designer or equivalent qualified candidate for a Mid-Level position at the Mumbai Office. Applicants must be self-motivated driven efficient and organised with delivery experience working within a multi-disciplinary team pertaining to city planning branding placemaking landscape design transport planning & city management.

Key Competencies / Mandatory skills

• In depth knowledge and preferably experience of working of varied scale of projects including but not limited to urban planning transport planning NMT infra parks & open space development placemaking public arts branding design. Decent knowhow of the project finance structuring & phasing.
• Core hands on experience of working on Street Design Multimodal Integration Transport Infrastructure Planning and Design in conjunction with Urban Planning
• Research based data driven approach for fair understanding of project and orientation.
• Well acquainted with industry best practices trends and has an urge to keep oneself constantly updated with an attitude to learn and share within team.
• Exceptional ability to bring resolutions to variety of challenges with respect to project operations urban issues design & planning matters in a most practical & sustainable manner. The zeal to bring in innovative ideas to the team & work is an essential skill for getting the job correct in a high paced work environment.
• Attitude to strive for most practical sustainable excellent communication skills attitude to work as a team member while leading the team stakeholder consultations client engagement on a daily basis. Experience of closely working with bureaucrats certainly adds to the overall experience.
• A peoples person who has demonstrated experience of leading / guiding small teams (3 to 4 persons) who has the appetite to balance technical work with Business Development. Any prior experience as project / programme manager will be an added advantage.
