Mainframe Developer

Job Location : Greater Noida, Pune & Hyderabad

Experience Required : 03 to 05 Years

Mandatory Skills : Mainframe, Cobol, JCL, DB2, VSAM, IMSDB, CICS, Endevor, Abend-AID, Control-M, Insurance, Property & Casualty

Job Description :

Hands-on experience in COBOL programming, JCL scripting, and CICS transaction processing.
This role involves maintaining and enhancing legacy systems, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and CICS.

Perform impact analysis and code changes for enhancements and production fixes.

Develop and maintain batch and online programs.

Work with DB2 and VSAM for data access and manipulation.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Collaborate with QA and business teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Provide production support and resolve issues within SLA timelines.

Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation.

Experience :

03 to 05 Years of experience in Mainframe technologies.

Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and DB2.

Experience in debugging and resolving production issues.

Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in migration or modernization projects.

Knowledge of tools like Endevor, File-AID, and Abend-AID.

Exposure to scheduling tools like CA-7 or Control-M.

Education / Qualification :

BE / B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc. / M.CA / M.TECH / Any Graduate
