We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Freight Broker to join our logistics team. The Freight Broker will be responsible for coordinating shipments, negotiating rates with carriers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and transport partners.

Experience Required : 6 Months to 1 year

Job Location : Sector 74, Mohali.

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

• Source and establish relationships with reliable carriers and transport providers.
• Negotiate competitive shipping rates and contracts with carriers.
• Coordinate and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Track shipments and provide real-time updates to clients.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and contracts.
• Resolve any shipping issues, delays, or claims efficiently.
• Collaborate with the sales and operations team to understand client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international transportation regulations.
• Continuously identify opportunities to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs.

Qualifications & Skills :

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.

Proven experience as a freight broker or in a logistics coordination role.

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of transportation regulations, freight operations, and logistics software.

Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and solve problems efficiently.

Proficiency in MS Office and logistics tracking systems.

Preferred :

Experience in freight brokerage for domestic and international shipments.

Familiarity with load boards and carrier databases.
