We’re Hiring – BIW Design Engineer (5–8 Years Experience)Location : ChennaiWe are looking for talented BIW Design Engineers with hands-on expertise in CATIA V5, Teamcenter, and Vismockup to join our dynamic team.Skill SetProficient in CATIA V5 (GSD / Sheet Metal / Part / Assembly / Drawing Workbenches)Strong knowledge of Teamcenter & VismockupDomain KnowledgeBIW Design (Underbody / Front End Structure)Manufacturing processes, tooling, stamping & assembly sequenceAL-PL layout, Master Sections, Vehicle Integration & PackagingRegulations & Homologation requirementsGD&T (CAD models & drawings)Familiar with WERS, GPDS & DPA 0 / 1 assessments in E2KSJob ResponsibilitiesContribute to concept development and VA-VE activitiesDevelop Body Engineering CAD concepts for PV & CV programsDefine & implement joining strategies (Spot Welding, MIG, etc.)Ensure design compliance with BIW, technical & structural requirementsCoordinate with manufacturing for feasible mass production solutionsCollaborate with CAE team to meet Safety, NVH, Deflection & Fatigue targetsEnsure proper interfaces & clearances meeting DPA standardsConduct timely engineering reviews of CADWork cross-functionally (Suspension, Powertrain, Manufacturing, Exterior / Interior)Interpret DFMEA, DVP&R, GD&T to support D&R and enhance design qualityApply now at
