#Apply : Job Description :

• Work within the Engineering team to deliver projects throughout product lifecycle, from concept to production (prototype build, testing documentation etc.)
• Apply DFM / DFA principles to meet product’s requirements and deliver value engineering by exploiting & exploring new methodologies.
• Preparing design documentation for production (component design, drawings, assembly drawings and instructions, BOMs etc.) with full configuration control.
• DFMEA (design failure mode and effect analysis) for new development projects and current product range
• Design and performance validation on current products OR refining existing models in product range.
• Contribute to and lead design reviews and workload where / when required (Product development, Continuous Engineering, ECO / ECN)
• Set standards within the business for best & modern engineering principles.
• Understanding of value engineering strategies, DFM.
• Communicate and present ideas to other engineers and across the business.
• Confident in taking lead and responsibility for design projects.
• Strong organizational skills to be able to work on multiple concurrent projects.
• Practical hands-on experience in mechanical engineering and assembly
• Willing to travel as required (supplier visits, technical support in extreme cases)
