Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days.

Position : Senior / Lead Developer (MYSQL).

Experience : 8+ years.

Location : Hyderabad (From Office).

About Us :

Xemplar is a US-based software and solutions company specializing in customer engagement and risk management software, leveraging AI / ML, GPT, Mobile, Web, and Cloud technologies.

Our clients are primarily in the insurance and financial services sectors in the US and Europe.

Must-Have :

RDBMS design, normalization, and schema modelling.
Deep understanding of RDBMS internals, query optimization engines.
Expert in PL / SQL programming and advanced SQL tuning.
MySQL (admin, optimization, high availability).
Leadership and mentorship experience with development teams.

Nice to Have Technical Skills :

Python and Bash / Linux.

Experience with AWS Cloud & RDS.

Git and CI / CD.

Required Experience :

Lead the design, development, and implementation of highly complex PL / SQL solutions for critical business applications.

Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns for database development.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of PL / SQL developers, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Architect and optimize database schemas, queries, and processes for maximum performance, scalability, and availability on MySQL, incorporating advanced RDBMS concepts like distributed transactions, data partitioning strategies (e.g., sharding), and advanced data consistency models.

Educational Qualifications :

Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

8+ years of progressive experience in PL / SQL development, with a significant portion in a lead or architect role.

Expert-level proficiency in PL / SQL programming and advanced SQL query optimization techniques.

Extensive experience with MySQL database administration, performance tuning, replication, and high availability solutions.

Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale, high-performance database solutions.

Deep expertise in RDBMS internal mechanisms, query optimization engines, and the ability to design and implement complex database architectures.

Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
