Senior Snowflake Developer - Visualization Tools

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Developer with a strong background in data warehousing, ELT / ETL development, and data visualization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Snowflake and be skilled in at least one data visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker (preferred). You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to build scalable data solutions and deliver insights through visual Responsibilities :

• Develop and optimize data models, data pipelines, and data integrations using Snowflake.
• Design and manage Snowflake components like schemas, tables, views, streams, and tasks.
• Implement and maintain ELT / ETL workflows from multiple data sources into Snowflake.
• Build and support dashboards and reports using a BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver accurate, actionable insights.
• Optimize query performance and ensure data quality, governance, and security.
• Document data flows, business logic, and technical Skills :
• 8 years of experience in data engineering or data warehousing roles.
• 6 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Experience with any BI / visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
• Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work Skills :
• Experience with Looker and LookML is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with ETL / ELT tools like DBT, Fivetran, or Airflow.
• Knowledge of Python or scripting for data pipeline automation.
• Exposure to CI / CD practices in data environments.
• Snowflake or cloud platform certifications are a & Technologies :
• Data Warehouse : Snowflake
• Visualization : Looker (plus), Power BI, Tableau
• Languages : SQL, ETL / ELT Tools : DBT, Fivetran, Talend, Cloud Platforms : AWS, Azure, GCP
