We are seeking a Compliance Head to lead the development of a strong compliance culture and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience, preferably within the insurance sector, and will be responsible for identifying, implementing, and monitoring compliance across all business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Implementation : Identify new laws and regulations applicable to the company and ensure their effective implementation across all functions.
- Review & Approval : Review health insurance products and all related documents, including marketing materials, customer communications, and training modules, to ensure they meet regulatory standards.
- Process & System Development : Develop and implement compliance systems, processes, and controls for various business functions, such as operations, claims, underwriting, and sales.
- Reporting : Establish and manage processes for reporting to the IRDA (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) and the Board, ensuring all statutory requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Risk Management : Assist in identifying compliance and regulatory risks, analyze their implications, and recommend actions to mitigate them.
- Guidance & Training : Provide expert guidance to various functions on applicable laws, regulations, and ethics. Conduct regular compliance workshops and training sessions for all teams.
Required Experience & Skills
Experience : A minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience with a reputed corporate or MNC, preferably in the insurance sector .Skills : Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. A deep understanding of regulatory requirements and the ability to implement them effectively across an organization.Skills Required
