Job Summary :

We are actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated MERN Stack Developer with 5+ years of experience for our offshore team in Chennai.

This is an immediate joining opportunity for a developer who is proficient in building scalable and high-performance web applications using the MERN stack.

You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless integration and robust functionality.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack.
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, Hooks, React Router).
  • Build and maintain robust and scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
  • Design and manage databases using MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX / UI designers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Perform thorough testing, debugging, and optimization of applications to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
  • Stay updated with the latest web technologies and MERN stack advancements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Qualifications : Required :

  • 5+ years of professional experience in MERN stack development.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Expertise in React.js (including Hooks, Context API, Redux / MobX, React Router) and related front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, SCSS / LESS, Tailwind CSS).
  • Extensive experience with Node.js and Express.js for building scalable backend services.
  • Solid understanding of MongoDB (schema design, aggregation, indexing, Mongoose ORM).
  • Experience with RESTful API design, development, and consumption.
  • Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and promises.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in an offshore model.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English.

    • Preferred :

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment strategies.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker).
  • Knowledge of other databases (e., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Experience with GraphQL.
  • Understanding of CI / CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to microservices architecture.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
