Job descriptionStrong understanding of QA methodologies (manual and automated testing). Experience with fullstack testing (frontend, backend, APIs, databases). Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured. CI / CD integration for automated test execution (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Experience with version control systems (Git). Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to write clear and concise test plans, test cases, and defect reports. Experience in managing outsourced QA teams and coordinating across time zones. 5+ years of experience in software QA roles. 2+ years of experience leading QA efforts for fullstack applications. Experience in test automation and DevOps-aligned QA practices. Certifications : ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester, or equivalent. Performance and load testing using JMeter, Gatling, or similar tools. Security testing fundamentals (e.g., OWASP Top 10). Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for test environments. Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow). Use of test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr). Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, ELK Stack) for production validation. Experience in testing microservices and distributed systems. Background in cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
The purpose of this role is to ensure the developed software meets the client requirements and the business' quality standards within the project release cycle and established processes. To lead technical initiatives in order to optimise the test approach and tools.
