Job descriptionNative or near-native fluency in Bhili and excellent command of English. Proven experience in translation or linguistic services, preferably with Bhili language projects. Strong understanding of Bhili culture, idioms, and regional variations. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with translation tools (e.g., CAT tools, glossaries) is a plus. Degree or certification in linguistics, translation, or a related field. Experience translating for NGOs, government agencies, or educational institutions. Knowledge of Bhili script(s), if applicable. Type : Freelance / Contract Location : Remote Compensation : Based on project scope and experience
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and culturally fluent language specialist to support our content localization efforts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for translating written materials from English into Bhili while maintaining linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and contextual integrity.
Key Responsibilities :
- Translate various content types (e.g., educational materials, marketing copy, legal documents, technical manuals) from English to Bhili.
- Ensure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and contextually faithful to the original message.
- Collaborate with editors and project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Conduct research on terminology and regional dialects to ensure precision.
- Review and revise translations based on feedback and quality assurance checks.
