Job Title : Executive Officer (Government & Industry Liaison) Organization : Bharuch Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) Location : Bharuch, Gujarat Type : Full-time About BCCI

The Bharuch Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) is a leading organization representing the industrial and business community of Bharuch district. BCCI acts as a bridge between businesses, government departments, and law & order authorities , working for the ease of doing business, industrial growth, and overall district development.

Role Overview

The Executive Officer (Government & Industry Liaison) will act as the official representative of BCCI — managing communication with industry members, government officials, and regulatory departments. The role requires a presentable, confident, and proactive professional capable of solving issues faced by industrialists and entrepreneurs and promoting Bharuch as a hub of economic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent BCCI in meetings, conferences, and public forums.
  • Act as the liaison between BCCI members, local industries, and government departments.
  • Identify and help resolve issues related to law, permissions, compliance, and industry regulations .
  • Coordinate with administrative authorities for policy matters and problem redressal.
  • Assist BCCI members in ease of doing business initiatives .
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and proposals related to district development.
  • Support BCCI delegations for domestic and international exhibitions or trade events , providing recommendation letters and coordination support.
  • Maintain strong public relations with industry leaders, local bodies, and institutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in corporate affairs, government liaison, or industry relations .
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (English preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving ability and understanding of government functioning.
  • Confident, professional, and presentable personality .
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work independently.
  • Desirable Attributes

  • Prior experience with industry associations, chambers of commerce, or trade councils .
  • Knowledge of industrial laws, government schemes, and MSME policies .
  • Network with local administrative and industrial bodies.
