SDE I Backend (Remote - India)

We are seeking a proactive and talented Backend Software Engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable, high-performance backend systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on REST-based web services, cloud-based deployments, and enterprise-grade backend platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize backend solutions, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security. Accountabilities :

• Assist in planning, designing, and executing SOA backend platforms, primarily around REST-based web frameworks using Java (Spark, Spring, ORM).
• Develop high-level and low-level designs for highly scalable and robust components.
• Track defects, collaborate with business owners and users to triage bugs, and manage the backlog.
• Address non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, high availability, and security.
• Participate in build, deployment, and DevOps activities, including AWS-related tasks.
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and establish networks with subject matter experts.
• Support technical advisors in defining project roadmaps and technical direction.
