We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET III) to lead the quality assurance strategy for cutting-edge AI-driven financial technology platforms. In this role, you will design and implement advanced test automation frameworks, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of complex Conversational AI and fintech systems. You will collaborate closely with AI engineers, product teams, and platform architects to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle. This role requires ownership of end-to-end testing, including functional, performance, security, and AI-specific validations, while mentoring junior team members and promoting best practices. Accountabilities :
- Lead the design and execution of comprehensive test strategies covering functional, performance, security, and scalability aspects of AI-driven platforms.
- Develop advanced, reusable test automation frameworks tailored to complex AI workflows, beyond standard tools like Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or RestAssured.
- Design innovative testing approaches for NLP, Voice models, intent recognition, and dialogue flows to ensure real-world reliability.
- Own end-to-end quality for critical initiatives, including test planning, execution, and integration with CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Mentor junior SDETs and engineers on test automation best practices, AI tool adoption, and system-wide quality approaches.
- Conduct load, stress, and latency testing for distributed systems handling high-volume financial transactions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test architectures and lead proof-of-concept initiatives for new tools, frameworks, or languages.
- Apply advanced prompt engineering techniques for testing LLMs and AI-driven features within production workflows.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in software testing, with 3+ years as an SDET building automation frameworks in product or platform environments.High proficiency in Java (or Python) for test automation, with deep knowledge of design patterns and reusable components.Hands-on experience with tools such as Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, TestNG, Cucumber, or equivalents.Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and real-time systems (e.g., WebSockets, server-sent events).Experience with CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).Exposure to AI / ML system testing (LLM, NLP, Chatbots) or fintech applications is a strong plus.Proven leadership skills, including mentoring teams, driving cross-team collaboration, and leading initiatives.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle high-stakes, ambiguous challenges.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.Nice to have : experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible), and security testing practices (e.g., OWASP standards).Benefits
