Role Overview :
We are offering an exciting internship opportunity for aspiring business development professionals to work directly with the Founder & Chief Growth Officer at Olio. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to the complete sales process—from prospecting and lead generation to networking and assisting in client conversions—while learning how business development functions in a fast-paced marketing and advertising agency environment.
Job Location : Baner, Pune
Key Learning Areas & Responsibilities :
- Targeted Prospecting : Learn how to identify and engage potential B2B clients in the industrial equipment sector.
- Lead Generation Exposure : Assist in representing Olio at exhibitions and trade shows to understand how high-quality leads are generated.
- Networking : Build and nurture relationships with industry professionals, both online (LinkedIn, business platforms) and offline.
- Market Research : Conduct research to understand client challenges and support strategy development.
- Cold Outreach : Learn cold emailing and personalized outreach techniques to connect with prospects.
- Sales Reporting : Support in maintaining records of outreach activities and learn how insights refine sales strategies.
- Pitch Preparation : Assist in preparing impactful presentations and proposals for clients.
- Negotiation Insights : Observe and support in negotiations, understanding deal structures and client relationship management.
Goals (Internship Level) :
Gain experience in generating qualified B2B leads through exhibitions, networking, and digital outreach.Contribute to building relationships with decision-makers in the industrial equipment sector.Develop a practical understanding of client conversion strategies in a B2B context.Learn reporting and sales pipeline management in real-world agency operations.Preferred Skills & Qualifications :
Education : BBA (Marketing) or MBA (Marketing) students / fresh graduates preferred.Strong interest in B2B sales, business development, and marketing strategy .Good communication and networking skills (online & offline).Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn about the B2B businesses and marketing agency sectors.Show more
