About the Role :
The Solution Consultant plays a key leadership role in the Integrated GTM team, leading transformation across Digital Business Services (DBS) and Engineering Services (ERS). This position orchestrates strategic pursuits and leverages the latest technologies, including Generative AI (Gen AI) , to deliver innovative, future-ready solutions tailored to client needs with core responsibilities as partnering with practice heads and technical experts to reveal new growth opportunities, developing robust GTM strategies, and delivering persuasive, Gen AI-empowered proposals. The solution component will focus on enabling end-to-end service transformation, driving industry-aligned value chain innovation , and elevating process excellence , all powered by Gen AI. This is achieved through close coordination with sales SMEs and consultants, ensuring the proposals are fully supported and aligned with business objectives.
The scope spans a diverse digital landscape : UX & UI, Digital Engagement Platforms, Application Modernization, Multi-Channel Commerce, Cloud, API & Micro-services, BPM & RPA, Data & Advanced Analytics, and SaaS ecosystems like Salesforce—with a significant emphasis on Gen AI’s ability to accelerate innovation and enhance outcomes across various industries.

The Solution Consultant requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to successfully manage a team and lead complex presales engagements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI’s role in the services industry and experience in creating strategic, outcome-based pricing models.

What Will Happen in the First Six Weeks of Joining :
The first six weeks will be focused on onboarding, familiarizing yourself with the team, and getting hands-on experience in leading pre-sales activities.
Week 1 : Complete onboarding / certification on AI / GenAI platforms and pricing innovation frameworks. Introduction to the HCL Tech AI Force platform and how it integrates with the pre-sales cycle.
Weeks 2-3 : Lead team to deploy GenAI tools for content and message optimization; direct commercial modeling scenarios (output-based pricing).
Week 4 : Coach team on HCLTech’s AI Force platform and articulate its impact on bid value, SDLC, and operating models.
Weeks 5-6 : Own at least one major pursuit, integrating GenAI-enabled operating model and output-based commercial structure; report advanced KPIs versus benchmarks.
By the end of the sixth week, you will be expected to be fully immersed in the role, capable of leading a team of Solution Specialists, driving client engagements, and ensuring the successful delivery of AI-driven solutions.
