Job descriptionEstimate costs for electrical and electronic components based on technical specifications. Identify and implement cost optimization strategies using market benchmarks and competitive analysis. Apply Zero-Based Costing techniques, particularly for automotive lighting, display.
J ob Title : Costing and Sourcing Specialist – Electrical & Electronics Components
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Electronics, Electrical, or Electronics & Communication from a reputed institute.
Experience : 8+ yrs
Skill :
- Minimum 8 years of experience impart costing, strategic sourcing, and vendor development.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in automotive or heavy machinery sectors.
- Proven track record of working closely with suppliers.
- Proficiency in MSOffice, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience with costing tools like aPriori and Costimator is a plus.
- Familiarity with Q-tools, PPAP, and APQP is an added advantage.
