Security L3 Engineer

We are actively seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Security L3 Engineer to join our client's team through Acme Services . This pivotal role requires strong expertise in a diverse range of security technologies, including Palo Alto, Juniper SRX, Fortigate, McAfee IDS / IPS, Zscaler, Akamai WAF, and Cisco Ironport . The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advanced-level support, troubleshooting complex security incidents, and implementing robust security solutions to protect the organization's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Security System Management : Lead the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various security platforms, demonstrating strong expertise in Palo Alto, Juniper SRX, and Fortigate firewalls .
• Threat Detection & Prevention : Manage and optimize McAfee IDS / IPS (Intrusion Detection / Prevention Systems) to detect and prevent sophisticated cyber threats.
• Cloud & Web Security : Implement and manage cloud security solutions using Zscaler and deploy robust web application security with Akamai WAF (Web Application Firewall) .
• Email Security : Oversee and maintain email security posture using Cisco Ironport to protect against email-borne threats.
• Incident Response & Troubleshooting : Provide L3 level support for complex security incidents, conducting in-depth analysis and leading remediation efforts.
• Security Architecture & Best Practices : Contribute to the design and implementation of secure network architectures and ensure adherence to security best practices.
