Job Overview :

We are looking for a highly experienced and technically proficient Solution Architect - Java to join our team. You'll bring 8+ years of enterprise-level Java development expertise to design and implement robust, scalable solutions. This role demands a strong focus on low-latency, high-volume applications, microservices, and modern CI / CD practices. Key Responsibilities :

Design and architect scalable enterprise-level solutions using Java (preferably Java 11), focusing on low-latency and high-volume application development.
Implement solutions leveraging advanced Java features like lambda expressions, Stream API, and Lead the adoption of CI / CD practices and shift-left testing within the development lifecycle.
Develop and implement APIs and Microservices, primarily using Spring Boot.
Work extensively with asynchronous programming and multithreading to optimize application performance.
Design and implement solutions for data sourcing, data modeling, and data enrichment.
Contribute to Systems Design and optimize CI / CD pipelines.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external clients, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
Provide technical leadership and guidance, while actively coaching and mentoring junior engineers.
Drive the deployment of multiple products to market, pushing code into production :
8+ years of Java development experience within an enterprise-level domain.
Proficiency with Java 8 (Java 11 preferred) features such as lambda expressions, Stream API, and Skilled with low-latency, high-volume application development.
Expertise in CI / CD practices and shift-left testing.
Experienced with asynchronous programming, multithreading, implementing APIs, and Microservices, including Spring Boot.
Proficiency with SQL.
Experience with data sourcing, data modeling, and data enrichment.
Proven experience with Systems Design & CI / CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with cloud computing, preferably AWS.
Solid verbal and written communication and consultant / client-facing skills.
A self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a consulting capacity.
Solid experience with at least two (preferably more) of the following technologies :

1. Kafka (Core Concepts, Replication & Reliability, Kafka Internals, Infrastructure & Control, Data Retention and Durability).

2. MongoDB.

3. Sonar.

4. Jenkins.

5. Oracle DB, Sybase IQ, DB2.

6. Drools or any other rules engine.

7. CMS tools like Adobe AEM.

8. Search tools like Algolia, ElasticSearch, or Solr.

9. Qualifications :

Experience with Payments or Asset / Wealth Management domains.

Mature server development experience and in-depth knowledge of frameworks, preferably Spring.

Extensive enterprise experience working and building enterprise products, demonstrating long-term tenure at enterprise-level organizations.

Experience working with a remote team.

An avid practitioner in their craft with a continuous learning mindset.

Knowledge of Golang and / or Rust.
