Genpact is hiring senior Linux System Administrator who must be good at root cause analysis, Implement, Perform, Provide Technical Support, Recommend Support, Create Documentation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate across technology teams to ensure seamless operations and project alignment.
- Implement infrastructure including hardware, servers, and virtual machines.
- Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, patches, and firmware updates.
- Provide prompt and thorough technical support, including root cause analysis and testing.
- Drive automation and suggest process improvements for operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, implementations, and support activities.
- Recommend and implement support strategies to enhance system performance.
- Collaborate with teams to validate system operability and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics to proactively address potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security policies across all systems.
- Manage and maintain physical Dell servers, ensuring optimal performance, troubleshooting and hardware lifecycle management

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent field of study.Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications / Skills
Intermediate level of Knowledge / Responsibility Redhat / CentosExpert level knowledge of UNIX / Linux (L3).Expert level knowledge on automation / configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, PythonExcellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environmentsPerformance troubleshooting and capacity planningTroubleshooting, Installation, maintenance, and tuning of Linux / Unix OS.Strong knowledge on server hardware and softwarePrepares installs, and implement Linux / UNIX operating software and associated componentsExperience on User Administration using LDAPVMware Administration – Virtualization techniques or any other virtualization technologyExperience on system security, patching and upgradations.Strong knowledge of host-based SAN migrations and good experience with SAN LUNS scanning and mapping etc.,Proficient with LVM and Linux File systemsAbility to tune kernel / System parametersKnowledge on Oracle ASM and SAN StorageExperience / Troubleshooting TCP / IP, Routing, DNS, NFS
