Position : Assistant Manager - Creative Design Development

Experience - 5- 7 years

Location : Mumbai HO

Division / Function - CP-ASF (Consumer Product - Art, Stationery & Fevicol)

Job responsibilities :

1. Content Designing and Implementation for Children's Art and Craft Requirements

a. Content Planning Development :

Develop a Content Plan for child friendly art and craft projects that showcases the use of our product range.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders (HOFM, Product Managers) to understand project briefs and translate them into actionable content strategies.

b. Recipe Creation :

Sketch project concepts & brief the Content Development Manager on requirements.

Review artwork and DIYs to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and audience relevance.

c. Ensuring Control on Content Execution :

Monitor end-to-end content production including DIYs, video assets, and topical product-based content.

Ensure consistency and quality across formats like reels, videos, static posts, product usage images, and DIYs.

Develop e-commerce and social media-specific content assets that highlight product functionality and benefits.

Conduct fortnightly LIVE workshops on digital platforms to showcase new techniques and product applications.

2. Build Insights for Content Development and Product Ideas

a. Connecting with Consumers :

Maintain a strong understanding of the target user group for content and gather relevant insights through firsthand interactions such as school visits.

Establish and execute a regular visitation plan to engage with teachers and understand their content needs.

Continuously develop a strong understanding of emerging global and local trends and translate these insights into relevant content generation strategies.

b. Artist Network Development :

Build an expert network and identify talent for exclusive retainerships to support RC content delivery and strengthen brand edge.

3. Input into New Product Development & Product Testing

a. Product Testing for NPDs :

Conduct product testing and benchmarking for new product developments.

Conduct small-scale user trials with the help of Resource Centre teachers, support in large-scale user trials.

Prepare user trial reports and share findings and recommendations with the brand team, technical services, and the R&D team.

b. Kits Planning & Development :

Conceptualize kit design based on the brief from the Kits Manager.

Create production assets (video, static images, step-by-step manuals) to support kit development.

Identify and recommend key design trends, techniques, and art forms that can be included in the kits production.

4. Learning & Development

Develop individual and team capabilities relevant to the business by :

Organizing visits to art colleges, exhibitions, shows, and fairs to stay current with trends and talent.

Organizing upskilling workshops for both personal development and the Resource Centre (RC) Artists.
