Your Team's Impact :
The Business Intelligence team is responsible for driving data-informed decision-making across the organization through comprehensive reporting, analysis, and process improvement.
Key responsibilities include providing quarterly data to support individual performance tracking, regularly publishing reports on productivity, timeliness, and completeness, and addressing gaps in reporting based on evolving data and management needs.
The team maintains and develops reporting applications, collaborates with Content Operations to analyze reporting requirements, and delivers insights for digital transformation and project tracking.
They ensure transparency in workflow efficiency by measuring document journey metrics, produce weekly dashboards for production and project updates, and communicate data insights to relevant stakeholders.
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our large-scale data collection and quality organization as we evolve from raw data collection to curated, AI-driven insights.
This role bridges business stakeholders, curated datasets, and modern technologies (AI, ML, and advanced BI platforms).
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and visualization skills, an understanding of data quality and governance, and the ability to leverage AI tools responsibly to drive better decision-making.
What You'll Do :
BI Development & Data Storytelling :
- Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards and reports using curated datasets.
- Translate data into actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Partner with business teams to define KPIs and performance metrics.
Data Curation & Quality :
Work with data engineering and data quality teams to ensure curated datasets are accurate, consistent, and business-ready.Contribute to defining and monitoring data quality metrics (accuracy, completeness, timeliness).Advocate for data governance best practices and maintain awareness of data lineage.AI & ML Alignment :
Collaborate with data science and ML teams to ensure curated datasets are suitable for feature engineering and model training.Experiment with AI / LLM tools for summarization, enrichment, classification, and exploratory analysis.Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve AI-driven BI workflows while maintaining human oversight.Stakeholder Collaboration :
Serve as a bridge between business users, data engineers, and AI / ML practitioners.Conduct requirements gathering to align curated datasets and BI deliverables with organizational priorities.Communicate complex data and AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders in clear, actionable terms.Required Skills :
What We're Looking For :
Proficiency in SQL and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent).Strong data modeling skills (star / snowflake schemas, semantic layers).Experience working with curated datasets and understanding of ETL / ELT pipelines.Familiarity with data quality management, data governance, and metadata / lineage tools.AI / ML literacy : understanding of how AI / ML models support curation, anomaly detection, and enrichment.Ability to use prompt engineering and AI-assisted analysis responsibly.Strong communication, stakeholder management, and data storytelling skills.Bachelors degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).Desired Skills :
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks).Experience with data catalogs and governance tools (Collibra, Alation, Atlan).Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics.Background in financial, healthcare, or regulatory data (where quality and curation are critical).Change management skills to help drive adoption of curated and AI-enabled data workflows.(ref : hirist.tech)
