Role Overview

We’re hiring an Engineering Manager with deep technical expertise, strong execution skills, and experience leading teams that deliver production-grade software. You’ll work closely with Product and AI teams to drive architecture, delivery, and performance across backend systems that power our agentic automation platform.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You should be comfortable diving into code, designing scalable systems, and setting a high bar for engineering quality.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of engineers delivering AI-integrated backend systems

Design and review architecture for scalability, reliability, and performance

Guide and unblock engineers across design, implementation, and deployment

Ensure clean, well-tested code and solid system observability

Partner with AI, DevOps, and Product to turn concepts into shipped features

Drive planning, estimates, and team-level execution

Own hiring, mentorship, and growth within your team

Key Requirements

6 to 8 years of experience in backend engineering

At least 1 to 2 years in a tech lead or engineering manager role

Strong in system design, API design, and service-oriented architecture

Proficient in .NET Core (preferred) or similar backend stacks like Python or Node.js

Experience building distributed systems using microservices and message queues

Familiarity with AI, LLM APIs, or agent-based workflows (integration or conceptual understanding is sufficient)

Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS

Proficiency in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes

Proven track record of delivering production systems in high-performance environments

Experience with Kafka, Redis, or other event-streaming and data caching systems

Exposure to prompt engineering or chaining LLM APIs into workflows

Experience hiring and building high-performing engineering teams
