The opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced solutions-focussed IT Security Analyst to join our dynamic IT team.

As our new IT Security Analyst, you will report to the IT Infrastructure Manager, and will be responsible for protecting the organisation’s digital assets through monitoring, managing Palo Alto firewalls and Proofpoint email security, conducting risk assessments, supporting compliance with standards like ISO 27001, and leading security awareness programs, requiring strong technical expertise and communication skills within a multidisciplinary medical research environment. While day-to-day firewall changes may not be routine, you’ll be required to have the capability to troubleshoot, consult, and make configuration changes when needed.

This is a position for an experienced IT professional with security-focused experience and skills, preferably within the not-for-profit / medical research sector. Expertise in firewall administration—preferably with Palo Alto Networks — and in email security solutions such as Proofpoint is essential.
