Job descriptionProficient in HiveQL and familiar with Hadoop ecosystem components such as HDFS, MapReduce, and Pig. Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus. Familiarity with SQL and relational databases. Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hive Developer with 1-2 years of experience to join our growing team in Thane. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis and be proficient in writing HiveQL queries to support our data-driven initiatives. This role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure the efficient processing and analysis of large datasets.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines using Hive.
- Write complex HiveQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Optimize existing Hive queries for performance and efficiency.
- Participate in data modeling and architecture discussions to ensure data is structured effectively.
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging Hive-related issues in the data workflow.
