Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an IT Service Desk Tech Support, located in Bengaluru South. The IT Service Desk Tech Support will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues, providing timely and accurate customer feedback, and guiding customers through problem-solving processes. The role also involves escalating unresolved issues to the next level of support, tracking, and directing problems to the correct resources.

Qualifications

  • Technical skills : Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Customer Service skills : Providing timely and accurate customer feedback, guiding customers through problem-solving processes.
  • Communication skills : Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Administrative skills : Documentation, recording activities in the ticketing system, tracking reported issues, and escalating them when necessary.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications : Experience in IT support roles, relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL), and a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
