Minimum Experience : 15 years
Education : CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent with 20+ years in manufacturing Accounts & commercial roles at factory level.
Responsibilities :
- Lead financial accounting, finalization of accounts, and statutory compliance (Direct & Indirect Taxation, TDS, GST and Cost Records) with complete ownership of all financial data and transactions.
- Lead commercial operations including budgeting, forecasting, pricing, KPI and margin analysis.
- Manage inventory control, dispatch planning, and logistics documentation including e-way bills and export documentation, refund processes & procedures for GST .
- Ensure accurate and timely MIS reporting, Develop and implement cost control mechanisms, Conduct variance analysis and drive cost optimization initiatives, Maintain cost sheets and track product profitability and proper cash flow management.
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting exercises, Monitor adherence to budgets and provide variance analysis and Present insights and recommendations for management decision-making
- Supervise ERP-based accounting (Microsoft D365, Navision or similar), including AP / AR, reconciliations, and audit coordination.
- Drive commercial strategy, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
- Support internal controls, compliance audits, and financial risk mitigation.
- Interaction with Internal, IFC, GST and Statutory Auditors.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels to meet production requirements without overstocking.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, logistics documentation, and supplier agreements.
- Build and mentor a high-performing Accounting & Commercial team and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement with operational excellence.
Technical / Technological Competencies
Accounting Standards & Financial Reporting : Strong understanding and application of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.Taxation Direct & Indirect : In-depth knowledge of Income Tax, GST, and other statutory requirements, including return filing, assessments, and audits.Costing & Budgetary Control : Ability to design and implement cost accounting systems, budget frameworks, and variance analysis for cost optimization.Treasury & Cash Flow Management : Proficiency in managing liquidity, fund allocation, banking relationships, and investment decisions.ERP System Knowledge : Expertise in D365 (Microsoft) ERP (or similar ERP systems) for financial accounting, reporting, and business integration.Required Skills & Knowledge :
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.Expertise in taxation, export processes, and inventory control.Proficiency in ERP D365 Microsoft, Navision or any ERP and Microsoft Office tools.Strategic thinking and financial acumen.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.KPIs / Success Metrics :
