About the Role
The Senior Vice President – Wealth Management will directly manage a portfolio of High-Net-Worth (HNI) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNI) clients, offering end-to-end investment advisory and wealth management solutions. This is an individual role (not team management), requiring a strong personal network, deep product knowledge, and a track record of building long-term client relationships while delivering consistent revenue and asset growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Acquire, nurture, and grow relationships with HNI / UHNI clients, family offices, and senior professionals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their financial goals, risk appetite, and wealth planning needs.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews, offering strategic solutions aligned with market conditions and client objectives.
Wealth Advisory & Solutions
Advise clients on a wide range of investment products including Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, Bonds, Structured Products, and Insurance.Provide tailored wealth planning, tax-efficient investment strategies, and succession planning guidance.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, regulatory changes, and investment opportunities.Business Growth & Revenue Generation
Achieve AUM (Assets Under Management) and revenue targets through focused client acquisition and wallet-share expansion.Drive cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across the NBFC's wealth management and third-party product suite.Leverage existing relationships to grow client base through referrals and networking.Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure strict adherence to SEBI, RBI, and IRDAI regulations.Maintain transparent, ethical, and client-centric practices.Minimize operational and investment risks by adhering to company policies and compliance standards.Desired Candidate Profile
Post Graduate / MBA / CA / CFA preferred.12–18 years of experience in Wealth Management / Private Banking with a reputed Bank, NBFC, or Wealth Advisory firm.Proven individual contributor track record of managing HNI / UHNI client portfolios.Strong understanding of capital markets, investment products, and wealth planning solutions.Established network of HNI / UHNI clients in Bangalore and surrounding regions.Excellent communication, relationship-building, and advisory skills.High integrity with a client-first mindset.Key Skills Required
