Overview : AVP - Business & Strategic Finance, you will play a pivotal leadership role integrating strategic planning with robust financial management to drive the growth and performance of BHIVE Group.

  • The role would play a crucial part in the IPO listing of the business in the next couple of years.
  • This role demands excellent financial modelling skills, mature and strategic mindset and strong business partnership skills. You will be responsible for leading financial planning & analysis, driving growth / new business analysis and supporting fund raise & due diligence.
  • The Senior Manager / AVP will collaborate closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to align financial and strategic goals, ensuring the company pursues sustainable growth and achieves its objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Leading Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) :

  • Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, MIS, working capital analysis, and periodic financial reporting
  • Enhance financial processes and systems to ensure data accuracy, insightful analysis and timely reporting
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure robust budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting discipline across the company
  • Track and report key business, financial, and operational metrics impacting profitability and strategic priorities.
  • 2. Driving New business / Investment Analysis :

  • Prepare financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, investment proposals and strategic initiatives
  • Conduct market research, analyze industry trends and provide actionable recommendations for business expansion
  • Partner with business units to assess the financial feasibility of new growth initiatives and present findings to leadership.
  • 3. Supporting Fund Raising & Due Diligence :

  • Support fundraising efforts (equity, debt, and alternative capital) by preparing financial models, investor decks and due diligence material
  • Liaise with investors, bankers, financial institutions and family offices to facilitate funding requirements
  • Manage due diligence processes in coordination with external and internal stakeholders
  • Support investor relations activities.
  • Qualifications & Experience :

  • CA or MBA (Finance) or CFA from a reputed institute or equivalent, with 8-12 years of experience in corporate / business finance roles .
  • Demonstrated track record in FP&A, business analysis, fundraising or strategic finance.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Advanced financial modeling and Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in real estate and infrastructure would be preferred.
