Engineering Manager - Backend

Job descriptionDesign and assign backend tasks aligning with engineering best practices. Evaluate and implement strategies for distributed systems and data pipelines. Ensure backend systems use optimal cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCS) and databases (NoSQL, transactional). Facilitate communication across teams to deliver high-impact backend solutions.
Key Deliverables
- Oversee multiple backend projects, ensuring scalability and high performance.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, conducting regular performance reviews.
- Collaborate with sales and design teams to develop innovative product solutions.
- Lead planning meetings, drive OKRs, and monitor project progress through detailed reporting.
