Chief Engineer

To monitor and optimise the technical and operational performance of global vessel fleets through a digital vessel-performance platform.

This role requires strong expertise in vessel performance management, marine operations, regulatory compliance, and client engagement, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement.

Location : Pune

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed performance evaluations covering emissions, fuel efficiency, speed profiles, engine utilisation, and weather-based voyage optimisation.

Work closely with clients to deliver actionable insights, performance improvement plans, and technical guidance.

Lead client discussions on vessel performance, voyage planning, charter party compliance, and emissions-reduction initiatives.

Review and maintain technical documentation, including EEDI / EEXI, NOx, SEEMP, and related compliance records.

Prepare and present dashboards, monthly performance reports, and benchmarking studies across fleets.

Support onboarding of new vessels, system configuration, and data integration with client environments.

Looking For :

Chief Engineer / Master Mariner with prior shore experince.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in vessel performance, marine operations, technical management, or related functions.

Good knowledge of regulatory frameworks including MARPOL, SEEMP, EEOI, CII, and EU MRV.

Experience with maritime performance analytics platforms or IoT-based vessel monitoring tools preferred.
