Key Responsibilities
Keyword Research & Competitor Intelligence
- Build and maintain keyword clusters with search-intent mapping and prioritization.
- Run competitor analysis (content gaps, SERP features, backlink audits, share-of-voice).
On-Page SEO
Optimize titles, metas, headers, internal linking, media SEO, and schema for rich results.Manage content hygiene (canonicals, pruning, freshness) and page templates.Technical SEO, Crawling & Indexing
Monitor crawl health and indexation (robots.txt, meta robots, X-Robots-Tag, sitemaps).Improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, rendering (CSR / SSR), and handle redirects / status codes.Support site architecture, pagination, faceted navigation, and duplication control.Off-Page SEO & Backlinking
Execute high-quality link acquisition (digital PR, partnerships, unlinked mentions, citations).Track backlink health; escalate risk patterns and handle disavow only when warranted.Local SEO (GMB / GBP)
Optimize profiles (categories, services, posts, Q&A, reviews, photos) and ensure NAP / citation consistency.Improve local landing pages and monitor map / local-pack rankings.AI-Assisted SEO & Content Ops
Use AI tools for ideation, outlines, internal-link suggestions, and programmatic pages—with human QA, originality, and compliance.Analytics, Experimentation & Reporting
Own GA4, GSC, GTM basics (events, conversions, UTMs); build Looker / BI dashboards.Run title / snippet tests and report weekly KPIs with clear actions / impact.Collaboration
Create clear tickets for Engineering / Product / Design; align delivery to SEO roadmaps.Guide writers / designers and manage agency / freelancer output as needed.Required Qualifications & Skills
2–5 years hands-on SEO with demonstrable improvements in rankings / traffic / conversions.Strong in : keyword research , competitor research , on-page SEO , technical SEO , crawling & indexing , off-page / backlinking , local SEO / GBP .Tooling : GA4, GSC, GTM (must-have); Ahrefs / SEMrush, Screaming Frog / Sitebulb; Looker Studio / BI.Working knowledge of schema, canonicals, hreflang, CWV, redirects; CMS experience (WordPress / Webflow / Shopify).Bonus : basic HTML / CSS / JS, regex, and / or Python / SQL for analysis.
