Were a funded, early-stage company (25 people) operating from a coworking space in Udyog Vihar. We move fast, care deeply about processes, and want an owner-operator to run day-to-day operations and act as the company head in the CEOs absence.

Role summary
We are hiring a Head of Operations (officially COO) with a strong banking background who can join immediately and run the company end-to-end. Youll manage all departments proactively hiring & people ops, finance & payroll, product ops, compliance, vendor management, and office operations. You will be the on-ground leader who creates discipline, builds operational rigor, and represents the company when the CEO is unavailable.
What youll do (key responsibilities)
- Own day-to-day operations across departments and ensure smooth execution.
- Act as the company lead in CEOs absence make decisions, run leadership meetings, and be accountable.
- Build and enforce SOPs, playbooks, and incident management processes.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage heads of functions; set OKRs and weekly / monthly operating rhythm.
- Implement KPIs, dashboards, and cost controls; manage budgets and vendor contracts.
- Lead compliance and banking relationships; validate bank / payment operations and controls.
- Drive rapid hiring and onboarding (we expect you to help scale the team).
- Solve high-impact operational issues and de-risk the business for growth / funding.
Must-have qualifications
4+ years of experience in banking operations, payments, or operations, with at least 2 years in a lead / managerial role.Proven track record running or owning operations for multi-function teams (hiring, SOPs, KPI design).Highly disciplined, process-oriented, and proactive strong bias for action.Comfortable being full-time, in-office (Udyog Vihar). Not a remote role.Able to join immediately or with the shortest possible notice period.Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills; experience with bank references / compliance Experience with startups / early-stage companies.Prior P&L ownership or experience working closely with finance teams.Hands-on experience with ESOP programs or equity administration.Prior relocation to Gurgaon or existing local network in NCR.Perks & extras
