Cost Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost sheets, analyze production costs, and track variances.
• Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs and suggest cost optimization measures.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Maintain accurate records of production costs and cost allocations.
• Generate periodic cost reports and provide insights to management.
• Collaborate with finance, production, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost data.
• Support internal and external audits related to cost accounting.
• Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
