Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical U.S Tax Consultant to join our tax content team, focusing on Schedule K-1 research, analysis, and mapping. This position requires a strong understanding of Partnership, S corporation and U.S. Individual return, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to annual changes in government forms. Experience : 3.5 to 6 Years. Tax Consultant.
- Conduct in-depth research on Federal and State Schedule K-1 forms to determine proper line flows into the target tax return.
- Maintain and update K-1 mapping documentation using Excel.
- Monitor and analyze changes in government-issued K-1 forms and ensure corresponding updates in mapping and documentation.
- Perform QA testing to verify accuracy of K-1 line flows and resolve discrepancies.
- Identify discrepancies, anomalies, or potential risks in tax data, calculations, or filings and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- The consultant must be versed in tax law, capable of providing clarification and interpretation to the software development team when needed, as well as conducting tax research.
- Long-term opportunities include training on the software's programming langue and developing the content calculations, workflow, and quality assurance.
- Ultimately, the Tax Analyst is responsible for the overall Quality of the tax software and ensuring the best user And Qualification :
- Minimum 3-4 years of US tax experience, preferably across diverse return types with a strong focus on Forms 1065, 1120S and 1040.
- Minimum 3 Years of US tax experience ideally with State Tax Returns (preferred to have state K1 knowledge).
- Good to have experience in CCH Axcess Tax.
- Proficient in Excel.
