About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead and support our data governance initiatives using Collibra. This role will be instrumental in establishing robust metadata management, data cataloging, and end-to-end data lineage capabilities. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure data assets are well-governed, discoverable, and trusted.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies and standards using Collibra.

Drive the implementation of best-in-class data management & data governance practices, policies and standards.

Collaborate with business users to understand data governance, metadata, and lineage requirements. Partner with technical teams for integration of Collibra with enterprise data platforms, pipelines, and BI tools.

Working as SME to design and implement data governance, metadata management and, data catalog solutions specifically on Collibra Data Governance.

Establish and maintain end-to-end data lineage across systems and processes. Support regulatory compliance initiatives by enabling traceability and lineage of critical data assets.

Translate business use cases into technical specifications and work with engineering teams for implementation.

Define and establish roles, responsibilities and controls, data stewardship, data ownership, workflows and enterprise processes.

Conduct training and onboarding sessions for business and technical users on Collibra usage.

Act as a subject matter expert on Collibra capabilities and data governance frameworks.

Drive business adoption of data governance processes across functions. Develop business roadmap for data governance & management on Collibra.

Support data governance tools, processes, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance on data governance issues and resolutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

5+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or related fields.

Hands-on experience with Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.

Working knowledge of Collibra operating model, configurations, workflow design, workflow BPMN development, and how to integrate various applications or systems with Collibra. Developing APIs (REST, SOAP) to expose the metadata functionalities to the end-users.

Strong understanding of data cataloging, data lineage, data integration and metadata standards.

Experience working with cross-functional teams (business and technical stakeholders) in a regulated industry, preferably life sciences or pharmaceuticals.

Familiarity with data architecture, data modeling, data quality and data integration concepts.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to translate complex business use cases into implementable governance solutions.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

Collibra Ranger or Architect certification.

Experience with data quality tools and frameworks.

Experience with data platforms such as Azure, Databricks, or Snowflake.

Background in data engineering or data architecture is a plus.
