Job description

Coforge Ltd. is hiring for the position of AWS Data Governance Architect in Pune and Greater Noida.

Experience required : 10 to 15 years.

This is a full-time role focused on leading the design and implementation of enterprise-grade data governance frameworks on AWS. Ideal candidates are passionate about data integrity, security, and compliance, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities include : -

  • Architecting scalable, secure, and auditable data governance solutions on AWS.
  • Establishing policies for data quality, security, privacy, and compliance across the organization.
  • Leveraging AWS services such as Glue, Lake Formation, IAM, S3, and Redshift.
  • Collaborating with engineering, data science, and business teams to implement governance policies.
  • Implementing tools for metadata management, data lineage tracking, and cataloging.
  • Ensuring data practices align with regulatory requirements like GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Developing automated workflows for data validation and monitoring using AWS tools.
  • Creating documentation and providing training on governance policies and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications : -

  • 10–15 years of experience in data architecture, governance, and cloud technologies.
  • Proven expertise in AWS data services.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with metadata management tools and data cataloging.
  • Hands-on experience with data security and access control mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, ETL pipelines, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Nice to Have : -

  • Certifications in AWS.
  • Experience with data governance tools like Collibra or Informatica.
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws and compliance standards.
