The IT Manager-Infrastructure will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's IT infrastructure. This role involves leading a team to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of network and server systems while implementing best practices in IT management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the IT infrastructure of the organization, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Lead a team of IT professionals to implement and maintain infrastructure projects.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure security and compliance.
- Monitor and manage network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for infrastructure support and maintenance.
- Plan and manage IT budgets for infrastructure-related expenditures.
- Ensure regular backups and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and recommend upgrades or changes as necessary.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a related role.Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).Proficiency in server management (Windows Server, Linux) and storage solutions.Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.Strong project management skills and experience in leading IT projects.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.Skills Required
