Job Description
We are seeking Product Development Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and optimize formulations for mouthwashes, toothpaste, gels, and other oral hygiene products.
- Conduct stability studies, pH and viscosity testing, and microbial preservation testing.
- Work with ingredients such as alcohols, essential oils, surfactants, flavors, and preservatives.
- Troubleshoot formulation issues (e.g., settling, separation, flavor loss).
- Ensure formulations comply with regulatory and safety standards (e.g., BIS, FDA, ISO). Interface with procurement, QA / QC, and production teams.
Requirements
B.Pharmacy / M.Pharmacy / M.Sc in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field.1–3 years of experience in personal care or oral care product development.Strong knowledge of solubilizers, preservatives, emulsions, and stability protocols.Familiarity with GMP documentation and lab-scale to production-scale transitions.Preferred Skills :
Experience in alcohol-based and non-alcoholic mouthwash development.Experience in toothpaste formulation preferred.Basic knowledge of flavor and fragrance blending.Benefits
