Job description

Container Movement Coordination

Ensure timely movement of all import containers within the free period and coordinate with transporters for efficient handling of import, export, and empty containers to and from the CFS.

Warehouse Management

Achieve optimal space utilization in export and import warehouses while maintaining organized and efficient inventory control.

Daily Operations Monitoring

Monitor daily movements and ensure timely dispatch and submission of accurate operational reports.

Customer Coordination

Address all customer-related issues promptly to ensure smooth operations and effective communication across all departments.

Communication and Correspondence

Respond to import / export operation messages and customer queries in a timely and professional manner.

Revenue and Business Development

Contribute to achieving the revenue budget, conduct market surveys, identify and develop new customers, and retain existing clients.

Stakeholder Liaison

Liaise proactively with customs and port officials for permissions and compliance to support seamless CFS operations.

Process Improvement Initiatives

Propose new ideas for operational improvements, cost-efficiency, and participate in process mapping with the operations team.

Customer Engagement

Collect and act upon regular customer feedback, deliver excellent service, and maintain continuous personal contact through visits and communication.

Reporting and Analysis

Prepare statistics and supporting reports for existing customers, and assist management with monthly reports and market updates.

Rate Negotiation and Market Intelligence

Discuss and negotiate rates for future agreements (as per authority matrix), provide updates on competition and productivity.

Customer Relationship Management

Maintain good relationships with existing customers and develop strong connections with competitors' clients.

Forecasting and Projections

Gather and update customer forecasts and projections regularly to support business planning.
