About the role
We’re looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to join the Coty India team. This is a newly added role that will be responsible not only for the commercial success of the business unit under his / her care, but also the acceleration of Coty’s ambitions through impactful marketing strategy and impeccable execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Marketing, ATL, PR
- Develop short to long-term brand and launch plans in conjunction with Key Accounts and Retail Operations, aimed at driving sell-out, sales productivity, brand / product rankings and market share
- Make strategic decisions around big bets and key priorities, with a view to do “fewer, but bigger and better”, showcasing Singapore as the market with best-in-class practices / executions / successes
- Partner Media and PR agencies to develop cohesive Media and PR strategies to build brand desirability and exclusive tribes, to support brand development and major launches
- Track and improve Marketing KPIs and ROIs
Trade Marketing, BTL
Plan and execute BTL promotions across Department Stores, Sephora, Perfumery and Ecommerce channels for omni-excellenceDevelop exclusive offerings and promotions tailored to various customers / channels and end-consumersPlan and execute animations and podiums in conjunction with Key Accounts, Visual Merchandising and Retail OperationsCo-own brand-, category- and BA-productivity with Retail Operations and Key AccountsSupport Key Accounts and Retail Operations with month-to-month sales planning activations aimed at stretching results, and / or mitigating risksA&CP Budgeting, P&L Management
Plan, own and manage A&CP budget to ensure profitabilityCo-own brand P&Ls, including actively managing sell-out to sell-in, gross-to-net and product contributionMarket Planning & Forecasting
Monitor closely / adjust the forecast for both new marketing initiatives and baseline categories / franchises, according to business needsWork with stakeholders to realize commercial ambitions;to re-phase forecasts when required, and track performances of key pillars
Manage inventory and make plans as required for discontinuations and Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) reductionReporting & Others
Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reporting as per brand and APAC requirements, managing ad-hoc reporting requests when requiredProviding valuable insights to local, regional and global teams on brand and competitor performance, using them to enhance our own brand performance and resultsPricing and promotional analysisREQUIREMENTS
A dynamic and entrepreneurial mindset, with a strong attention to detail, the ideal candidate will bring along the following :
Minimally 5 years of 360° brand management experience in Luxury Beauty, particularly in Fragrances, within the Singapore domestic marketSignificant relevant experience with the Department Store and Sephora channels, with a strong understanding of the retail drumbeat and landscape in Singapore. Channel experience in Free Standing Stores is a bonus.Experience in multi-brand portfolio management is preferredA proven track record in brand-building and expansion;a strategic thinker whodoes not gloss over details
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and work under pressureHighly detailed with strong organizational and analytical skills;attuned with performance marketing
