Job Summary :
We are looking for a Senior Backup Engineer with expertise in backup tools and tape libraries in data center environments. This role involves managing and troubleshooting backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Configure and manage backup solutions for regular data backups.
- Troubleshoot issues related to backup jobs and tape libraries.
- Test backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain documentation of backup procedures and recovery plans.
- Collaborate with IT teams on data protection initiatives.
- Monitor backup systems for performance and capacity.
- Implement security protocols for data backups.
- Good understanding of networker.
