Job description

Job Title : Sales & Service Engineer – Foundry Industry

Company : Sriram Enterprises

Location : South India (Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana)

Base Location : Chennai / Coimbatore

Experience Required : 3–8 years in Industrial Sales / Marketing (preferably Foundry-related)

Qualification : Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or related Engineering discipline

Employment Type : Full-time – Field-based role with extensive travel

Job Role

The Sales & Service Engineer will be responsible for promoting, selling, and servicing our range of products to foundries across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana . Key locations include Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy, Madurai, Bangalore, Mangalore, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Tenali, Tirupati, and Srikalahasti.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit existing and potential customers (foundries) to introduce, demonstrate, and promote our product range.
  • Understand customer requirements and offer suitable product solutions.
  • Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and secure orders.
  • Follow up to convert inquiries into repeat business.
  • Provide after-sales support and technical assistance when required.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and gain / loss customer reports for management review.
  • Identify new market opportunities and contribute to strategic sales planning.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education : Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or related engineering fields.
  • Experience : 3–8 years in industrial / B2B sales;
  • Foundry industry experience preferred.

  • Strong technical aptitude to understand and explain engineering products.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across South India.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools.
