About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced EDI Support Analyst who will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing electronic data interchange (EDI) operations. The role demands strong expertise in healthcare EDI transactions, production support, and hands-on experience with EDI tools and standards.
Key Responsibilities (KRA) :
- Monitor, maintain, and support EDI processes to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDI transaction issues (inbound and outbound).
- Analyze, identify, and fix data discrepancies and system integration issues.
- Provide production support including incident, change, and problem management.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, clients, and technical teams for issue resolution.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare EDI standards and guidelines.
- Support enhancements, upgrades, and configuration changes in EDI systems.
- Ensure timely processing of EDI files (834, 835, 837, 277, 278).
- Document technical solutions, issue resolutions, and process improvements.
- Drive continuous improvements in monitoring, automation, and support processes.
Required Skillsets :
Hands-on experience with EDI tool EZcap.Strong knowledge of EDI transactions : 834, 835, 837, 277, 278.Proficiency in Sterling Integrator or EDIFECS tools.Familiarity with EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML.Experience in EDI inbound and outbound processes.Good exposure to production support procedures and incident management tools(ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.Proactive approach towards issue resolution and system optimization.Domain knowledge in healthcare payer-provider ecosystem will be an advantage.(ref : hirist.tech)
