Job description

Role : Senior QA Engineer (Automation Testing)

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium.
Perform API testing (REST / SOAP) and validate integrations across systems.
Execute automated and manual tests to ensure product quality.
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts in Agile teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution.
Enhance automation frameworks and improve testing efficiency.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

4+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing.

Strong hands-on experience in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG / JUnit.

Proven expertise in API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.).

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).

Experience with CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Maven / Gradle).

Good knowledge of defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to Have :

Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).

Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
