Position Tittle : Business growth strategist / Sales and Marketing Executive / Business Development Manager (BDM)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Growth Strategist, located in Chennai. The Business Growth Strategist will be responsible for identifying and executing growth strategies, generating leads through cold calls and cold emails, handling sales strategies, planning and coordinating events, and managing customer relationships. Role involves working closely with internal teams and clients to drive business growth and ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives. identifying and evaluating

new business opportunities. developing ideas, Risk plans, mitigation of risks, and strategies to

pursue these opportunities, and implementing. Explore the scope and manage the development to

achieve desired outcomes.

  • The new Business Development Manager should work closely with senior management to align business objectives and develop strategic plans. he / she should analyze market trends, competitor activities, and internal capabilities to identify areas of growth and improvement.
  • BDM will actively seek out new business opportunities, whether it's expanding into new markets, developing new products or services, or optimizing existing processes. Should study and research the market data, evaluate the feasibility, and potential impact of each initiative.
  • Once an initiative is approved, Business Development Managers develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestones. Design and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of projects within budget and time.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and clients, to gather input, gain support, and ensure alignment. They actively participate in collecting the requirements and communicating the goals, progress, and benefits of development to stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
  • Establish metrics and performance indicators to track the progress and success of development. With consistent data analysis, evaluation of outcomes, and making alterations as necessary to optimize performance and march toward the desired results.
  • Should assess potential risks and challenges associated with each initiative and develop contingency plans to mitigate those risks. They will monitor and address issues that arise during implementation to minimize disruptions and maintain project momentum.
  • Business Development Managers should foster a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating the effectiveness of development and identifying opportunities for optimization. Use necessary management feedback, conduct post-project reviews, and share key learnings across the teams.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Lead Generation and Sales skills
  • Experience in Event Planning and Marketing
  • Strong skills in Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience in business strategy and growth-focused roles is a plus
  • Eligibility Criteria :

  • Master's degree in Business / Sales / Marketing / Digital Marketing or related field.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in Sales, business development, and / or marketing roles.
  • Good understanding of digital tools (social media, SEO, ads, email marketing).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Creative mindset and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Based on your Skills and Experience, your position, roles, and responsibilities will be upscaled or downgraded
