Job Overview
Angel Care Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Outpatient Department (OPD). This is a full-time, mid-level position based in Bangalore, requiring 4 to 6 years of professional nursing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing services to patients in the OPD, ensuring high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
- Hold a valid Registered Nurse license and certification from a recognized nursing council.
- Possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in an OPD or similar healthcare setting.
- Proven experience in patient assessment including vital signs monitoring and clinical evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability to perform care coordination ensuring seamless patient care across departments.
- Strong skills in medication administration with attention to dosage accuracy and patient safety.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving skills to manage emergencies.
- Must possess skills in Patient Assessment (Mandatory skill), Care Coordination (Mandatory skill), and Medication Administration (Mandatory skill).
Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct assessments of patients in the OPD to determine their medical needs and prioritize care.Coordinate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Administer medications to patients and monitor them for side effects and efficacy.Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and healthcare practices.Document and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with hospital protocols.Assist with minor procedures and treatments as required by physicians in the OPD.Advocate for patient health and well-being by identifying care needs and recommending solutions.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.Skills Required
