We are seeking a highly skilled Conversion Lead (SQL) to drive and manage data conversion initiatives across large-scale enterprise systems. The role involves leading data migration activities, designing conversion strategies, and ensuring seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise, hands-on experience with performance tuning, and the ability to troubleshoot complex database and conversion issues in real time.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead end-to-end data conversion projects including planning, execution, validation, and reconciliation.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Perform query performance tuning and optimization to improve data processing efficiency.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather conversion and data migration requirements.
• Design and implement ETL workflows for large-scale data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity during migration and post-conversion validation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in real-time across heterogeneous systems.
• Create and maintain conversion documentation, including design specs, mapping documents, and process flows.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership on SQL best practices and conversion Skills & Experience :
• Strong expertise in SQL development (T-SQL / PL-SQL).
• Proven hands-on experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and indexing strategies.
• Solid understanding of relational database design and data modeling principles.
• Strong experience in ETL processes, data conversion methodologies, and reconciliation techniques.
• Experience in handling large-volume data migrations in enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and real-time problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional to Have (Preferred Skills) :
• Experience with cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, GCP BigQuery).
• Exposure to data migration tools (Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or similar).
• Knowledge of banking, insurance, or financial domain data conversion projects.
• Experience in automation scripting (Python / PowerShell / Unix Shell) for data workflows.
